Amy Winehouse died. :(

I for one was a fan of hers. She wasn't the typical popstar. Her songs actually had honesty in them, she had a voice that gave you an idea of the struggles she'd been through, and she brought you back to another time in music. Not poppy overproduced songs, but heartfelt tunes about the trials and tribulations of life.

Everyone knew she was going to die with the buffet of drugs she was on at any given time of day, but it's still very sad to know she's gone. It's actually more of a shame. I wonder if her legacy will now live on like others before her time.

Oh well, sad to see her go, but at least she's done suffering mentally. 27 strikes again.

  7. Never heard any of her music. When will people learn that drugs aren't cool?

  11. I'd never actually heard any of her songs before she died. I listened to some today and, well, there was a lot more to her than crappy magazine headlines gave her credit for. It sucks than she's gone.
