Check out Cuban here. This picture represents everything he's gone through, all the haters saying he was bad for the sport, Stern basically stealing millions from him in fines. But you know what, this is the guy i'd want owning my favorite team. Someone passionate about the game, about the team, and about his players.
What was best was him being a total class act during the entire playoffs. I can't think of an owner who showed more class after their team won. He put the former owners, the team, and even past coaches in front of himself. I thought it was a very nice gesture overall.
Grats to Dirk, Terry, Kidd, and Marion, but most of all, congrats to Cuban.

ReplyDeleteI love this man, glad to see he's getting the love he deserved. He did amazing things for the Mavs. And is picking up the whole tab of the Mavericks parties. They bought a 90k bottle of champagne last night.

I like the mavs and all, and im glad they beat the heat but i'd have to disagree. I can't stand this guy. It's cool how classy he has been this playoffs and I respect him for it even though im so suprised. I just hate the shenanigans he has pulled in the past, but at least hes not as bad as the maloofs.

ReplyDeleteHe didn't want to be a distraction during the finals and his team specifically asked him just to chill out for those games. The next few weeks are going to be crazy with him, I think. Cuban is without a doubt the best owner in the game. Who else sits on the court and is actually noticed?
