So it seems Advertisers are getting more creative. Imposing images on episodes of HIMYM.

How I Met Your Mother reruns have been featuring advertisements for current movies.

Pretty clever when you think about it. They now have the ability to forever impose whatever advertisement they want. Hell, I'm curious as to what the length of the agreement is. If I see this episode in 4 months, will it still be Zookeeper? Or will it go back to the old picture that  was just a shelf with no books.

Just thought it was funny.

  1. Yes, it's happening more and more in various reruns of shows. Yay for product placements.

  5. Thats genius..... its in old movies too. I just saw an add for Saw 15 on a t-shirt one of the lollypop gang was wearing in OZ.

  8. I dont know if thats uncommon in the US. But in my country they have been doing that for many many years in most of the soup operas and series (if not every)

  9. Wait... that can't be real. If so, that's sad.

  10. In the age of Tivo, they're going to have to start getting creative. Hopefully they stay subtle.

  11. It is real, gotta squeeze the reruns for all the money you can. ads make the world go round, soon you can get free food, just let us tattoo the insides of your eyelids so you can get our messages all night every night.
