Hollywood at it's current state.

I generally defend Hollywood when people say they've ran out of ideas, but this is one of those instances where I can't possibly defend them. Watch this and tell me how I can possibly play Devil's Advocate on this.

It's literally the same exact movie. Now watching the initial trailers, they seemed to share the same idea, but it could have changed a bit, think Deep Impact and Armageddon, but this is almost a complete remake of a movie that came out 6 months before. I really don't know what to say tbh. Thank you Hollywood.

  1. I know and that's the reason I'm not going to watch the movie. I don't care if Mila Kunis is in it </3. For real though it's literally the same movie.

  3. Hollywood really is at the bottom of the barrel with 90% remakes and adaptations. The indie scene though, doing some amazing stuff.

  6. Hollywood is really going down. They make good movies like one every year but I don't think that's enough.

  7. Sure there may be movies here and there which are unique but generally.. Let's just say there's only so many movies that can be made..

  17. Really is pretty embarrassing. I wonder if Kunis and Portman talked about this while doing press for or making Black Swan. They had to mention it to each other, right?

  19. I really do think they are more lazy than running out of ideas. I mean its like everyone just wants to do a remake instead of taking the time to produce something original.

  21. I don't know if it's "running out of ideas"
, it's just that in the past you could make anything and it would be original! Nowadays you actually have to work for it.
